Amami Tours

The Amami Archipelago is the only region in Japan where kokuto shochu, the native spirit of the Amami Islands, is produced. Unique, rare, and full of character, discover this exceptional drink made nowhere else in the world. On this tour, visit up to 3 distilleries to learn about their fascinating production techniques, history, and, of course, taste the spirits. You’ll also visit one or two bottle shops, where you can purchase bottles and souvenirs. A delicious Japanese lunch is included before the tastings.

Alcohol tasting: under Japanese law, persons under the age of 2o cannot participate in alcohol tasting. At least one adult over the age of 20 must accompany persons under the age of 16.
